JV Powers and Company formed as a partnership in 1996, operating out of the basement of Mr. Powers home. After two months of operation we acquired our first photo identification system client as well as our first volume print and personalization client. This enabled us to move into our first office facilities in August of 1996.

Having recently celebrated our eighth full year in business, we have served over 150 clients with a variety of services. Over 75 photo identification systems have been installed. In excess of 4 million cards have been printed and personalized. An additional 2 plus million cards have been printed and delivered to clients for personalization. In excess of 90,000 HID cards have been delivered, along with numerous photo identification services and custom one-time jobs. Our company is proud to have a client retention rate bettering 80%.

We have now begun our first smart card initiative project with the anticipated issuance of over 1 million smart chip identification and medical record cards over the next 12 months.
