Consolidates all security credentials (including passwords, PKI, certificates, and biometrics). Provides strong authentication, authorization an audit capabilities across all modules.

Represents the monetary value linked with the card, including both stored value purses & EMV debit/credit accounts. Payment transactions may be linked with coupons, tickets or club rewards.

Stores all ticketing information that needs to be portable on the card & accepted at retail locations. The tickets may be issued & accepted by either card issuer or any of its marketing partners.

Records all one-time marketing promotions that need to be portable on the card & accepted at retail locations. The coupons may apply to products of either the issuer or any of its marketing partners.

Tracks enrollment & redemption status of long-term promotional programs associated with the card. These include recurring discounts & coupons, as well as loyalty point programs.
